Reservations

Our diary for online reservation is currently open until the 31st October 2024.

We offer a regularly changing 6 course tasting menu throughout the week at Kintsu.   Unfortunately we cannot cater to dietary requirements or dislikes that require substantial change to the menu, this includes vegetarian and pescatarian diets.  Our dishes routinely contain egg, dairy, gluten, soy and nuts – therefore we are unable to cater for these allergens if they propose a serious risk to health.  Please contact the restaurant in advance to discuss your booking if you have any queries on this.  

Booked tables will be held for 15 minutes from your booking time but may be released should you not arrive in this time.

All bookings will require credit card details, with a cancellation fee applicable in accordance with our cancellation policy. Please see below for the full terms of our cancellation policy.

If you booking has been completed you will receive an email to confirm this. If you have not received a confirmation email please contact us to ensure that your booking has gone through.

Cancellation Policy and Information

We are an entirely accessible restaurant with a sloped entrance and ground floor accessible toilet, but please notify us in advance if you require wheelchair access for your table . Unfortunately we do not allow children in the restaurant for dinner, however they are welcome at lunchtime although we do not have highchairs or space for pushchairs.

Our online system allows for bookings up to 6 guests or call us 01206 574361 to discuss your booking with one of the team.

Credit card details will be required to secure your booking at Kintsu, but no cards are charged prior to the reservation. All details are held by a 3rd party site called Stripe and will only be used in line with our cancellation policy.

As a small independent restaurant, Kintsu charges a cancellation fee for any bookings that are cancelled within 48 hours of the reservation time. The cancellation fee is £40 per person for any tasting menu bookings. This includes a change of date to the booking, a decrease in numbers and any no shows for bookings.
